About Vered Salon – West Hollywood Hair Salon for Fine & Thin Hair

Vered Salon is a private, appointment-only hair salon in West Hollywood, tucked inside the Sunset Plaza area on Sunset Boulevard. I created this space for clients who want a calm, one-on-one experience instead of a busy, walk-in salon—and especially for women with fine or thin hair who struggle to find a stylist who truly understands their hair.

For more than 20 years, hair has been my world. Before opening my own West Hollywood hair salon in 2002, I worked as a stylist for Playboy magazine and later became the personal hairstylist for Hugh Hefner’s girlfriends at the Playboy Mansion. I’ve also styled hair for photo shoots, red carpets, and TV shows, including “The Simple Life,” where I created looks for Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie.

That background taught me how important it is for hair to look beautiful both on camera and in real life. At Vered Salon, I take that same detail-oriented approach with every client—whether you’re coming in for a haircut and blowout, fresh highlights, or a full fusion (keratin) hair extensions installation.
