Vered Salon Policies
Effective date: 1/1/2025
At Vered Salon, your appointment time is reserved just for you. Please read the policies below before booking. By booking an appointment, you acknowledge and agree to these policies.
Booking & Card on File
A valid credit/debit card is required to book online. Your card secures your appointment time and may be used for deposits, approved services performed, and any applicable cancellation/no-show fees described below.
Deposits / Prepayments (Amount Varies)
Some appointments—especially hair extensions, major blonding, and color correction—may require a non-refundable deposit or prepayment based on the service type and time reserved.
If a deposit is required, the amount will be shown before you confirm your booking. Deposits/prepayments (when required) are applied to your service total unless otherwise stated.
Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy (48 Hours)
We kindly require at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule.
If you cancel or reschedule with less than 48 hours’ notice, you agree to the following fees based on the time reserved and services booked:
-
Less than 48 hours’ notice: 50% of the scheduled service estimate (minimum $100)
-
Same-day cancellation: 75% of the scheduled service estimate
-
No-show: 100% of the scheduled service estimate
Scheduled service estimate is based on the appointment time reserved and the services booked.
Late Arrival Policy (10-Minute Grace Period)
We offer a 10-minute grace period. If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, we may need to shorten or adjust your service to stay on schedule.
If your service cannot be completed due to late arrival and we must reschedule, it may be treated as a late cancellation and subject to the cancellation fee.
No Refunds on Completed Services
Because salon services are time- and product-based, services are non-refundable once performed.
If you are unhappy with your results, please contact us within 48 hours so we can evaluate your concerns and determine whether an adjustment is appropriate.
Adjustments (“Redos”)
If an adjustment is approved:
-
It must be scheduled within 7 days of the original appointment (subject to availability).
-
Adjustments are meant to correct the original service toward the agreed plan—not to change to a different look or new goal.
Adjustments are not offered when results are affected by:
-
Undisclosed hair history (box dye, henna/metallic salts, prior chemical services, etc.)
-
At-home changes after your appointment (DIY toner/color, heat damage, incompatible products)
-
Failure to follow aftercare instructions
-
Natural fading due to sun, heat styling, hard water/mineral buildup, chlorine, or frequent washing
-
Late arrivals that required shortening/adjusting the service
Hair Extensions: Aftercare & Maintenance Policy
Hair extensions require proper aftercare and maintenance to protect your natural hair and your investment.
By receiving extension services, you agree to:
-
Follow the recommended maintenance schedule for your method (tape-ins, keratin/fusion/K-tips, wefts, beads, V-Light, etc.).
-
Brush and care for extensions as instructed, including proper drying at the scalp/attachment areas.
-
Avoid heavy oils, masks, and conditioners directly on attachment points unless directed.
-
Avoid sleeping with wet hair and follow product recommendations.
No DIY removal:
Do not attempt to remove extensions at home. DIY removal can cause severe breakage or hair loss.
Matting/neglect:
If extensions become severely matted due to missed maintenance or improper care, additional detangling fees may apply and removal may be required to protect your natural hair.
Color / Lightening / Chemical Services (Important)
Hair color and chemical services may carry risks including irritation, breakage, dryness, uneven lift, and unexpected tones—especially on previously colored or compromised hair.
For safety and predictability, patch and/or strand testing may be recommended. Exact inspiration-photo results cannot be guaranteed, and color correction/blonding may require multiple sessions.
Retail & Hair Sales (Final Sale)
For hygiene and safety reasons, all hair extension hair sales and retail items are final once opened, installed, cut, colored, altered, or used.
Billing Disputes / Chargebacks
If you have a billing concern, please contact us directly first so we can resolve it quickly. If a chargeback is filed for services that were booked and provided/authorized, we may submit supporting documentation (appointment records, signed policies/waivers, and related communications) to the bank/processor.
Questions
If you have questions about these policies before booking, please contact Vered Salon and we’ll be happy to help.
